That was year six

 

On Tuesday we were writing about what happened in year six and if you remembered them.  It took a while because I couldn't think of anything of what we did because my memory sucks.  The learning asset was kaikorero and I don't like writing so it was harder.

I found it easy to do that ones where we did the activities in the past days or the coolest ones.

Writing focus

 

For our writing we have been writing Narratives. We have been learning to add a great hook in or opening line to our writing and to start our sentences in different ways.

This week we also had to have a smile and alliteration in our writing. This slide shows my hook in, sentence beginnings, simile and alliteration.

We are using our Kaiwhakarite/Self Manager learning asset by reflecting on our learning.

How to play Roblox

 

I was learning to make my own instructions and what you need in them.  I found it easy to write what I know about roblox and write it down on how to play it.  I enjoyed writing about my favourite game on how to play it I liked writing all about roblox into instructions.  Next time I need to re-read my writing to make sure it makes sense.

Animal Report Writing

 

I was learning to make reports about stuff like Fortnite, Tiktok or animals but I choose animals because my favourite animal is a fox.  I found it easy to write all the facts and write the whole thing down on my book and copy what was in my book on to slides.  I really enjoyed writing about my animal because foxes in my opinion are cute and so I write about foxes if I have the chance.  Next time I need to know more facts about the animal first.
